The Garden we were sent to Tend.

This song is another in my project “Songs in the key of Climate Change.”
It deals with the destruction of the garden we were all sent to tend by fossil fuel interests who have no interests in stopping the effects of climate change and who don’t care if the entire planet goes up in smoke.
As we’ve seen of late the smoke now blanketing our towns and cities is a result of wild fires in Canada caused in part by rising temperatures from the continued burning of fossil fuels.
I know a song can’t change anything but neither can a butterfly flapping it wings thousands of miles away or can it. Our only two weapons are money and art. We know who controls the money so art is our only other option.
